I am having the hardest time finding a wedding band to match my complicated engagement ring. I didn’t think about the band much when we picked out my ring, and it turns out I should have!
My ring is three stone, but then it also has tiny diamonds on the top and sides of the ring on both sides of the three stones. Then the ring is also hand engraved all around with a delicate pattern, and the edges have milgrain. Complicated? Yes. Pretty? I think so.
My problem is that any band I get is going to cover up the 8 diamonds that are on the side of the ring where the band will sit next to. Seems stupid to me to cover up the diamonds. We should have bought the ring without the diamonds on the side, but we didn’t think of that!
I’m trying to find a ring that matches mine pretty well. But it is hard to find engraved milgrain bands for under $1,000. And if I want them to have the tiny diamonds on the side and top to match my e-ring then the cost gets even higher.
The closest I could find is this band by Martin Flyer (see image of their website attached). But the price is out of our budget. We are thinking of spending $500 – $750 for my wedding band. Martin Flyer’s band is way more than that! So can anyone help me find a wedding band that is similar in style to the one by Martin Flyer and will match my e-ring?
We’ve scoured jewelry stores and I’ve looked everywhere I can think of online but I’m not coming up with anything. And if I do find a matching ring it’s just too expensive. Is there a site or vendor that could make a ring like this for me? And quickly? My wedding is only 8.5 weeks away. Please help. Thanks!
