It looks like a mori lee or maggie sottero dress! Those would be my bets. What you can do, a little bit of work, but go to the stores website and then see which brands they carry and got to the websites of those brands.

I compeltey understand your frustration when the silly salons take the tags out of the dresses- legally, i dont even think they can do this, and it makes me mad and that i dont want to buy my dress there! Thats just me though! Hope you find it !

This is similar though not your dress

MrsGreen2016:  We fell for the bridal salon trick. My daughter fell in love with a gown and we were fed the line that it might be discontinued in a couple of months – it wasn’t. Since we didn’t know the designer or style, until we got the signed contract to purchase back, we had no idea that the shop marked-up 25% above the manufacturer’s suggested retail price, either. ARGH !!!

MrsGreen2016:

I am gonna look more into it but for now what shop was it? Many stores list the designer they carry on their website so that could narrow it down. The straight across neckline helps as that is not as commonplace has sweethearts.

I feel like it is Casablanca 2163 however I used to work with that brand and to my knowledge they are one of the few designers that does not discontinue any of their styles. The shop maybe lying to you to get you to buy now, who knows.

In the mean time if you do decide to wait and the dress becomes discontinued here are a list of very similar styles that are still running:

Essense of Australia D1787

Allure 9117

Maggie Sottero ‘Parlatzo’

Maggie Sottero ‘Judith’

David Tutera ‘Indiana’

Enzoani ‘Dakota’

I’m sorry for being a dolt, can you can and ask?  The salons I went to kept my preferred dresses on file. It must depend on where you are if salons share the information.

Don’t let the boutique freak you out,  I bought a fall 2011 Casablanca in the spring of 2013.  Therefore, I think they were trying to get the order and they are full of poo.  If it is Casablanca contact them online and find out what their policy is.  my casablanca was ordered in April and I got it in June.  They told me it would take 6 months again another line of poo.  In the wedding industry there is a lot of poo and you can’t return a thing so….it’s very emotional and they use that against you.  You have plenty of time and that’s not the only dress in the world.  Take pics of the label next time tell them you are making a Memory book.

MrsGreen2016:  That sounds so super sketchy to me. They likely won’t tell you the name/designer because they don’t want you to look around at other pricing.

Lots of salons who don’t want you to price-shop will refuse to tell you designer names/style numbers so they can try and control you looking for better deals.

Of course, you can always look online, it is just more work for the bride.

If they are so worried about you price shopping that they wont tell you the dress designer, you should look elsewhere in my opinion, because they probably have a steep markup.

I have even heard of shops literally cutting the tags out or cutting off the style numbers. This is a red flag for me that the dresses are either too pricey, or knockoffs.
