So, just going to throw this out there and I am only trying to give healthy advice: didn’t you mention in a previous post you were wanting to lose weight? Meatloaf isn’t the best option to do this. I have many recipes that I use that are healthier versions of comfort food (with less calories!) PM me if you would like them 🙂

I haven’t done it but for sure, yes there are meatloaf slow cooker recipes.  It just doesn’t seem necessary?  Meatloaf doesn’t require several hours of cooking.  If it’s matter of wanting dinner quick & easy when you get home you could prep/mold the meatloaf in the morning or previous day then just put it in oven when you get home.  You can also prep/mold it into disposable foil tins & stick in freezer for a later date. Take out of freezer in morning, bake ready in evening.  Though you could do the same for slow cooker method (unmold from foil tin) if that’s your preferred method.

I like more browning/texture on the exterior on mine and it doesn’t seem like a slow cooker would do that so I’ve only used the oven.  Maybe that is what your boyfriend is thinking.  Would be fun to do it both ways and you both taste test.

renayaladisia91 :  One good option for this would be ground turkey instead of beef, ditch the breadcrumbs and glaze. Double up on the veggies and eliminate sides (macaroni and cheese-blech, mashed potatoes) and instead eat it with raw veggies. Always a hit at my house.

renayaladisia91 :

Apparently not liking coriander ( cilantro) because it tastes like soap to you is genetic !
