(Closed) can you put a corset on the inside of a dress?

Its such a shame your having dress regret, you went so far and beyond to get it and have waited so long for it too arrive. I’m so sorry. To be honest I really like your dress on you. I dont think putting in a corset it will help create the shape you want from the dress at all. How about trying different petticoats undernealth. Also dont forget you stiill have to have your alterations done it will then fit alot better. If the material feels bulky you can always have layers of material removed. Hope this helps.

My dress came with a corset built in.  But I think all it does is give the dress support to hold it up (strapless with heavy beading).

My dress had an internal corset with a zipper over it. The corset still had to be really tight to get the zipper up, but it definitely helped hold me in and keep the dress up.
