I ordered some organza table overlays from eBay & when I got them, they were packed so tightly that there’s tons of creases & wrinkles in them. I’ve been trying to iron one for the past 30 min with a thin cloth in between the iron and organza. It’s getting the creases mostly out but the wrinkles are staying. I’ve moved it up to the 4th setting and it hasn’t helped.
So I’m thinking of getting a steamer from Bed Bath & Beyond (either this: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=14781994 or this: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=16022039
Has anyone gotten wrinkles out of organza material or have any advice?

If you are going to steam organza, you need to be extremely careful or you will melt it. Have you tried washing the overlays on gentle with cold water and them putting them in the dryer on the cool setting? You might get better results that way. After you get the wrinkles out, you should hang them up. Put a wash cloth or a small towel over the hanger first though, so you don’t get lines in the overlay.

I gave this advice to another poster earlier today. If you can’t steam it try hanging them in the bathroom while you shower. The steam from the shower should help get the wrinkles out.

i dont know how i will hang them since they’re 72 inches or 6 square ft. I’ll try the washer/dryer though. I didn’t even think about that. Thanks!
