I recently got engaged and I am beyond in love with my ring! The sparkle of moissanite is so different from anything I have seen before. I didn’t know it existed until I got my ring and now (mostly thanks to these threads) I know all about it 😂
Anyways, my now fiancé got my ring made with a jeweler with a C&C stone. He chose a H&A but since I’ve learned the difference I think they put in the F1 not H&A. I LOVE this one so I don’t care Which one it is but we want to know if it is what he got.
And I just thought I’d be fun to post some close up and ask all moissanite experts!
What do you think?
Thanks a lot!

H&A = Hearts and Arrows, correct? If so, that’s just the cut. I think moissanite is typically cut either H&A or round brilliant.
I’m guessing its a Forever One DEF Colorless due to the icy look.
Anyway, whatever it is, its GORGEOUS and I’m jealous!

To me, it looks like a round brilliant F1, not H&A. They should’ve provided you with certification/warranty information when you purchased it. Did it not come with any paperwork?
Beautiful ring though! Congrats!

I have a H&A Forever One moissanite and it looks a bit different than your stone. Yours looks like a round brilliant cut to me because of the thinner facets. This is my moissy for reference.

Yours is the round brilliant cut, so not the H&A. It’s lovely, congrats!

isab : It’s a lovely ring:D But it’s not the F1 H&A. I’ve seen 3 H&A C&C rounds so far and they have distinguish thicker arrows. I think yours is the brilliant cut. When I was looking into moissanites and was researching jewelers nearby that deal with them, the ones that do deal with them just had the round brillinat cut ones. Not sure why they didn’t have the H&A. Congrats on your recent engagement!

Beautiful ring! Love the 4 prongs, my favourite. Definitely a round brilliant 🙂

First and foremost- Congratulations!!! Such an exciting time!
I would have to agree with the other posters on this one- it appears to be a Forever One to my eyes.
I have a 9.5mm H&A colorless moissanite and it is also a solitaire, so hopefully these photos will be helpful for you in finding similarities and differences between the two…

Congratulations on your engagement! Your ring is lovely! You have a beautiful stone.
Posted below are pictures of my C&C H&A F1 near colorless (set in the ring) and a loose C&C round brilliant DEF F1. I enlarged them so you can see the arrows in the H&A. Notice the wider, shallower cut of the loose stone. They’re both beautiful, but my particular Round Brilliant wasn’t a great cut, which is why I ultimately chose the H&A.

agree with the others it is definitely not H&A. Looks identical to my regular round cut F1
