My local florist quoted me $330 for this bouquet. I just wanted this color look not necessarily those specific flowers. I think she is nuts but yours sounds real reasonable.

She wanted even more to do it in silk.

sounds reasonable for that many centerpieces. it’s less than $100 a piece AND you get 2 bouquets.

is your whole foods actually arranging the flowers or just providing them for you to arrange?

You can always shop around to see what other places quote you for the same flowers.  I am only using bouquets (DIY centerpieces) and I was quoted just under $500.  I will have my bouquet, 6 Bridesmaid or Best Man bouq, 2 jr Bridesmaid or Best Man bouq, a Flower Girl bouq, about 18 bout, and 6 corsages.

@AmberAustin: It sounds reasonable to me.  Will they be delivering them as well?  So you are actually purchasing the vases?  If you want to decrease the price you may inquire about a vase rental, but beware you have to figure out who will pick them up, what happens if one breaks, ect.

That seems very reasonable for me for flowers and arrangement of that many centerpieces and bouquets. But, if you are concerned about it, you may want to check a few other stores?

Also, I really love those centerpieces! 🙂 Very pretty and elegant.

I think that is a great quote.  I encourage you to take this quote to other florists in your area to see if they can provide something better.  I have always believed in supporting your local businesses and I guarantee they would appreciate it.

Those centerpieces are going to look amazing!

I’m also planning on going the Whole Foods route.  Your quote does sound pretty reasonable, but if you want to save a WHOLE bunch more dough on the vases, check out dollartree.com.  No joke!! The vases at my local WF were not the greatest prices – $10-20 for simple glass vases.  Dollar Tree has similar ones for, of course, $1, and they’re free delivery if you pick up from your local store.  They don’t have the really big vases, but I figured the money I save on the vases I can splurge on nicer flowers over cheap fillers.

Good luck! Even with the WF vases I think you’re still gettng a great price for 10 centerpieces and the bouquest.

@AmberAustin: if you are still planning to order it online try http://www.vasesource.com. They are located on the east coast so the shipping is much more reasonable than ordering it from most other online stores that are located in California.
