Nothing ages my hands worse than fake tanning them! 🙄

sunburn :  If you’re 58 and that wasn’t a typo, I think both your hands and your face are gorgeous and much younger!

sunburn :  You’re having us on yeah? I don’t see a 58 year old. Unless you’re using one of those IG filters. If I had to guess your age from your hands + face I would say mid 40s at the latest.

Side note you have great eyebrows. Didn’t fall victim to the 2000s sperm tails I see.

luvingbee :  may be the weather, hormones, or genetics. I know during the winter, my hands get sooooo dry and crusty and wrinkly. When I am about to get my period, i swell up and the skin stretches to smooth (which is gross water retention). What matters if how you feel and hopefully no one is making you feel bad about your hands or appearance.

I work as a nurse. With the COVID pandemic, I’ve been diligently washing my hands using soap and water, and using hand sanitizer when soap and water isn’t handy. I’m sure my hands took a beating from all that–my hands were red and sore after my shifts!

I’m 32, and my picture doesn’t show it well but I’ve got super dry hands (from all that hand washing).

I also have old lady hands. I never took care of them. No sunscreen or moisturiser ever and now I feel like I have these hands that moisturiser can no longer penetrate.

I’m another one with old people’s hands. I also have to wash my hands a ton. A couple of times I was required to have topical chemotherapy for my hands and they looked pretty good after they healed but now I am back to the Wicked Witch of the West. I guess I will have to buy larger diamonds and pretty gemstone rings to distract people from my claws……

Some of you Bees have gorgeous hands and nails. You could be hand models.

LunaC : You’re so nice, thank you. I know that when I was younger I was nice looking because I had strange things happen to me. But these days I love just being off the radar.

bpositive :  But I dont have your six pack abs. Mine is more like a 1 pack … maybe a 0.5 pack.

sbl99 :  Sperm tails? I love it! My daughter’s eyebrows are perfect. I’ve always had furry eyebrows lol. I’d totally have a monobrow if not for my tweezers.

misty2007 People take better care of themselves these days so I’m sure you will be gorgeous.

beemybee :  Yep, 58. Looking at the photo, pretty sure I had makeup on. But no filters, I dont even know how to do that. And no plastic surgery if you’re looking for scars. I’m a big chicken.

I posted the photos to show that there are worse things than aging….even if my neck isn’t so great anymore. You have to be happy with what you have, not what you’ve lost, and age is nothing to fear. And I havent done anything to the photos other than put on light makeup. I took it to send to my daughter. She is the one who critiques my look. “Mom, those pants are very 90s”. Sigh. She’s  been doing it since she was 1.5 years old and she is harsh. “Mommy, your hair looks like Cruella!”  I have a better stylist now lol.

Goirishgrl :  I’m the same age and I sometimes look down and think “How are my mother’s hands attached to my wrists now??”

I never really thought about how old hands look, but I can see that when I post ring shots here, you can really tell.

For some reason my right hand is looking much worse than my left. I hate how the skin is just sagging around my knuckles. Also excuse my nails, as I am in the process of trying to soak off this dipping powder, which has not been an easy feat so far 😫. I’m 38 and I always tell my mom (who is mid 60s) that her hands look younger than mine… because they do! What the heck!
