The best thing you can do is take it to a jeweler. They may be able to solder a head onto the resizing spot but it may compromise the structure and durability of the ring depending on metal, thickness of rim, etc. Only a trained jeweler can tell you for sure.

ChellFish22:  I don’t see why not…I mean, you might have to sacrifice a stone or two to the cause, but I would think that’s something a jeweler could do.  The fun part is picking out a head for it!  They have such pretty heads for stones now, with the details and scrollwork on the sides!  Maybe you could find a way to put any of the stones that had to be removed in the new head?

ChellFish22:  it may be possible, depending on how dainty the band is. I’d take it to a trusted custom jeweller for a quote. Also consider sending a picture to a jeweller with competitive pricing like David Klass to see if it would be cheaper to just get a whole semi-mount setting made.

I’m sure a jeweller could custom make one just like it. I had my ering custom made to match my anniversary ring. Looking at them now, I suppose the jeweller could have added a head to a band – you should ask! Lovely set btw.
