@Moomin:  Haha that is so funny!  I don’t think my husband has even heard the word tulle before so at least yours was trying to say it!

I just asked DH if he remembered what my dress looked like he said: “It was white and it had heaps of straps on the back” (meaning the corset back that he had to undo me from at the end of the night) “and it didn’t have strap things it went across like this” – motioning with hand what my strapless dress looked like at the top!

He hasn’t seen it yet, but I imagine he’d be like ‘I don’t know, it’s a white dress?’

Lol- i burst out laughing when I read what your husband said. My fiance calls the blusher “the stuff that covers your face”

You had a veil. It was low cut and strapless. It had a flower pattern on it.

*shakes head*

I’ll update with a pic soon, but I had a while asymmetrical a-line. It had a sweetheart neckline and beaded lace on the bodice. No flowers though….

He thinks all wedding dresses are white, so I doubt it.  That’s okay…he liked the overall effect. 🙂

Nope – we decided that if I made a line-up of 3 or 4 dresses, he probably couldn’t pick out the one I wore.

ETA: Unless they were really different from my dress.  Like if I lined up a halter top dress, a thin strapped dress, and a strapless dress, he’d know mine was strapless.

@Moomin:  Funnel shaped!  LOL, that is priceless.

I just IMed my husband and asked him how he’d describe my wedding dress, in his own words.

He said “Amazing.”

I know it is a cop out, but I am not going to argue with him lol

Loveheart! Terl! So cute. I’m trying to picture a “funnel” wedding dress – I’m thinking a dress with huge 80s shoulders on crack which tapers all the way down until it’s super tight around the ankles. The bride would have to take minuscule, waddling little steps and could never sit down. Probably wouldn’t catch on…

Me: Ok, on the Bee, ladies are asking their husbands to describe their wedding dress.  So, how would you describe mine?

DH:  Lacy.  Um….very lacy.  And bright.  [silence]  Well, is that not accurate?

Me:  Accurate, maybe just a little lacking in detail:)

Love him.

“Beautiful.”

Then I asked him for specifics.

“White? You had a veil. Little lace on the bottom? A little glitter a little glam with a bride inside… I dunno, what do you want me to say?”

ROFL

Close enough?  He didn’t describe the shape, but my dress was an a-line dropped waist gown with lace detail on the skirt. Hahah. No glitter.
