My Darling Husband said white… and silver… then I was like no specifically what did it look like and he said he didn’t know the words for all that stuff lol!  He was like what was I supposed to say?  Then I told him it was a sweetheart ball gown.  Then he said “it was a sweetheart ball gag.  That’s what you were wearing later”  Bahahaha he’s so inappropriate! (And clever)

I told my FH about this thread… he told me that his response would be “It was a dress.”

*giggles*

“It was white…with lots of sequiny things…and it showed off a lot cleavage….the train was about a foot long…and mostly I remember the cleavage.”

Yeah, the seamstress made it too revealing at the top. Hopefully people other than my Darling Husband  remember more than my cleavage! Also, they were crystals, not sequins!

Ok, I asked and he said it was ‘white’ and looked like ‘a dress’. o.O

That was literally all he could remember.

Im loving this thread!

My OH said it went ‘inny outty shape with itchy bits on it and long fabric in your hair’. That translates as a V neck lace figure-hugging gown with pearl beads with lace chapel train and chapel length veil!!

“It was white, made you look really skinny and took up a lot of space on the hotel room floor!” Haha

I asked Mountain Man- via text and he just sent me his 3 favorite photos that he keeps on his iphone.  Guess a picture is worth a 1,000 words

Ok.. this is hilarious. My Fiance hasn’t seen my dress yet, and in fact has said that he doesn’t want to see my dress until our wedding day.

The other night I was explaining how I was going to have to have some straps or sleeves added onto it because we’re getting married in a Catholic church. And he was all concerned about whether it was going to look good, where the sleeves were coming from, why I couldn’t just get a little jacket, etc. etc. I said, “Dude, relax. You don’t pick out my clothes normally. Trust me this once.” He replied, “I don’t know. I just want you to look nice. I don’t want you to look weird. Won’t that look weird?” I ended up having to show pictures of what I wanted to do with analogous dresses. Are you kidding me? I thought you didn’t want to see the dress or know what I was wearing… lol.

On the other hand, after he has seen it, I’m SURE he wouldn’t be able to describe it. *sigh*

Ok I just asked my husband….and very enthusiastically he says: “It was satin…with a wavy bottom. Yes! 10 out of 10! “

I burst out loud laughing. lol

I’m not married yet, but my Fiance has been such a trooper and watched more than his share of Say Yes to the Dress episodes with me so he’s familiar with the terminology (and likely could readily identify a Pnina Tornai dress at this point). He was with me when we bought my dress, so he  described it to me as strapless with a sweetheart neckline and ruffles on the bottom. He got stuck on the word “applique” though and just kept saying “that sparkly thing on your hip.”
