Correction – he just saw the post and said, “No, by the thing in the back I meant the zippy thing.”

So, the trend of remembering how the dress comes off continues…

My Darling Husband describes all wedding dresses as being “white.” Hahahaha.

I asked Darling Husband last night and first he looked at me like I was from Mars, so I had to explain that it was a funny thread I’d seen on WB. After he finished rolling his eyes, he said “BOOBIES!!!!” because to be fair, the dress made my already big boobies look mahoooosive.  Then he said “And you had beads and little jewels all over the boobies which made me look at your boobies even more! But no beads anywhere else, just on the boobies, and it was long and not too big a petticoat underneath, and you had that little jackety thing.”

I just asked, and all he said was, “It was beautiful.”

Haha, thanks, dear. 😛

Oh my goodness, these are hilarious. My husband said mine was almost white. Then everything else was hand gestures. He traced a sweetheart neckline across his chest and said, “it went like this”. He called the belt area the “longitudinal part”. The bottom had what I describe as ribbons which formed rosettes. When I told him this he said, “oh is that what they were doing?” He also described from the ground up, which I found odd.

I just saw this thread and asked Darling Husband. “It’s peach… and it has a five-point-bustle.”

Not quite the answer I was looking for! I thought he’d ace this ‘test’. My dress was an A-line silk dress with lace applique around the top and lace straps. It did have a bustle, though that technically was my gorgeous train in the beginning. 😉

Ha, this thread is great!  My Fiance hasn’t seen my dress yet, but he had one request for when I went dress shopping: make sure it has a long “tail”.  I think you mean “train”, dear.  :-p <3

He says “white… fluffy… pearl belt… two tails on the back… some kind of pattern that you couldnt see, like fishnet pattern but it wasnt see through.”

I had a fit and flare lace dress with a pearl embellished sash.  I guess the tails are the ribbons from the sash.

 Totally love him!

My fiance accidentally saw a picture of the top of my dress for about half a second yesterday & was really upset about having seen it.  So I immediately remembered this thread & asked him to describe it.  He said it had a bunch of beads and a W on top with a heart like thing & side cleavage.  I think it made him feel a little better when I laughed hysterically ;-).

It has no beads, it’s all lace.  And he’s kind of right about the W heart thing, it is a sweetheart neckline. But there is absolutely NO side cleavage!!  What!!??  Really?  I think he was being creative on that one.  Wooh!!!

He doesn’t know the exact terminology, but he could describe what it looked like, at least.

lol this is his response “oh you mean the hive.  LOL.  I would say simple but elegant.  I don’t know, I mean it s a weird question, lol.  its not like I go shopping for dresses.  but that would prob be the best way I would describe it”

I told him that the ladies on the bee were asking lol

He’s right here is my dress!
