I asked my dh and he said, “Classic, sweetheart, A-line and lots of tulle.” I guess he’s right, lol.

@gangqinjia:  I just tried to do this with my Fiance, and all I got was:

(10:48 PM) Batman: I honestly have no idea and really have not tried to guess in order to be surprised

(10:49 PM) jessicasi: but I want you to! lol

(10:49 PM) Batman: I do not know enough about wedding dresses to even try to guess?

Lame! I guess I’ll just have to wait and play this game 7 months from now 😛

I put Mr Rugbee on the spot. Here’s what we got:

“It was a princess-looking dress” -Ballgown

“and… had decorations on it. I dunno what to call it… The jewelery on it! The work!!” -Also true, there was beading and lace on the bodice & skirt

“and a drawstring because it can recoil when we dance” – This one made me laugh at loud! A bustle!!

Me: Hunny can you describe my wedding dress?

Darling Husband: Ugh yeah…

Me: Let’s hear it!

Darling Husband: Okay, the color was Diamond White, it was segmented at a diagnol almost like it was wrapping around you. It was very tight through your waist, then it flared out once it hit your mid thigh at an angle.

Me: Damn! only thing he forgot was the sash!

So funny! My husband was tortured with hours of Say Yes To The Dress so he is very aware of bridal fashion terms. In fact, before we were even married my Mom-mom thought she was being sneaky by talking in fashion terms “Strapless, rouched, corset…” Then my husband piped up and said “Stop! Now I know what the dress looks like!”

He can describe it all too well.

He became well aquainted with the corest straps when he had to release me from the dress at the end of the night.

Husband said “it was white with flowy stuff on the bottom and a cool back, and you had DIY straps”

not bad!!!

Me: Hey honey, describe my wedding dress.

Him: You’re not typing this, are you?

Me: Yes, that’s the point of this thread.

Him: Umm…. there was a lot of beading and a nice train but it wasn’t too long and it flowed out like a trumpet.. I guess.

Me: That was pretty good, anything else?

Him: I liked your veil, it was down to your mid-back, and I just remember it being sparkly on the upper torso. I don’t remember beading all over, just here [motioning from hips] up…. did I fail?

We’re not married yet, but I know his description of the wedding will be “she looked amazing, the food and cake were tasty, we danced to X. Here are some pictures.”

And that might be pushing it! 😛
