Fiance and I spent the weekend travelling to the GTA and had a couple venue appointments booked. We have absolutely fallen in love with Ancaster Mill, the service, the beautiful grounds, the charm of the Governor’s Room and how it is old and historical but still classy and modern. Now I am just looking to see if anyone has had their wedding there or been there as a guest?
Our small concern is that once the dancing starts they move the head table and change it into the late night table. What does that mean for seats for the wedding party for when they arent dancing? I have only read good reviews online, but I am looking for a little more just to help us confirm.
Thank you for your help in advance!

MariLPxo: I’ve seen the location but I’ve never been to a wedding there – it really is stunning. Happy you found somewhere you love!
From experience, most people don’t go back to their seat when the dancing starts, people tend to sit wherever in different groups. As long as your bridal party knows that their seats will be removed and not to leave things on that table I think you should be fine.
If you need help with other GTA vendors I have a large list of people I contacted and the people we used for our wedding last year if you want 🙂

It is a pretty venue. A bit rustic if I remember correctly. Quite a few friends have gotten married there and they loved it. I didn’t choose this due to space (bigger wedding) and the fact that a lot of others have already used it. Congrats on picking a venue.

AstonMartin: Thank you, now we just have to send over our deposit to hold it. Another couple is interested in the same date, I really hope we didn’t take to long to think it over.

Ancaster Mill is gorgeous! Ive been to a couple weddings there and it really is wonderful.
Like PP stated, the seats arent a problem. If anything just have their chairs relocated so they can all sit together if they want. Or with their SOs.
I will send you a couple vendors via the mail function if you’d like! These are people my friends have used and I thought were really friendly and professional!
