I am from British Columbia, Canada and I was hoping to find other bees that are planning a wedding in the area. I have been trying to find websites that ship to canada (or within) at a decent price. The other week I ordered vases from Wholesale Events Solutions and they last minute cancelled my order. They stated that they would not just send me vases and that I had to order their entire centerpiece for them to ship it to me. I havent got my money back from them either :(. Anyways, that put me behind on my schedule so I despirately need to find a wholesale site to ship here. Any ideas??

@willett.c: I’m a British Columbia, Canada bride too! *waves*
I ordered my wedding invitations from weddingbee and I’m shipping them using Bongo International: https://bongous.com/
I haven’t actually received the invitations yet but I did get an email yesterday saying they shipped. Their pricing was a little higher than most shipping (cost me $50 to ship them from Bongo) but they do weigh 7 pounds so that’s probably not too bad.

@willett.c: Where do you live in BC? I use a mail receiving service in Blaine called Hagen’s. You register with them. They give you an ID#. When I order things online I have them shipped to
Jane Doe 57689
123 Main St.
Blaine this is Hagen’s address
They send me an email when I have an item to be picked up. I zip over the border to pick it up. I always declare at the border and am almost never asked to pay GST. There is no duty. Canada Border Services is way more interested in drugs and immigration that collecting a few dollars in tax for the provincial government.
This way you can take advantage of all those websites that offer free shipping in the USA.
What kind of vases are you looking for? Have you checked the Dollar Stores?

@ girlwiththeredhair – I`ve looked at Bongo and for light weight materials it is a great site but for vases I am looking at spending another 150-200 bucks to get it sent up. EEEK!! haha. PS I have a gingermaine too!! lol
@julies – How much does it cost get get items held there? I am currently inbetween Kitimat and Prince George so it is a fairly extensive trip for me to go to the states but I might be making a trip to Vancouver in the New Year. The dollar store in Kitimat doesn`t have anything but I am leaving for Prince in the morning so I will be checking them out ther. Thank you for the suggestions. I am looking for eiffel tower or cylinder vases. I would prefer them to be around 28 inches tall. We are putting together the ostrich feather centerpieces 🙂

I’m not from B.C but I am a Cdn Bride! I’m from Ontario. There are two Cdn websites I found that might help you out! I’m not sure what exactly you are looking for, but these sites have lots of products

Hagens only charges $2.50 if you pay an annual $12 fee or $5 if you choose not to. You do have ot pick up the package within a few days though or they charge an additional storage fee. That might not work for you.
