We didn’t use pocketfolds, but we did order our invitation paper from Paper Circle, and they were fantastic.  I highly recommend them: http://www.papercircle.ca/

We also looked into Paper Garden, another Canadian company.  They also seemed pretty good: http://paper-garden.ca/index.php

@drakeland:  I second cards and pockets 🙂 That’s where we got our pocketfolds. Samples are cheap too.

@Shosha1:  I second this! I just ordered samples from them and they have pretty quick shipping, and it’s even free if you spend over a certain dollar amount. This is far cry from ordering from an American site and paying at least $60 for basic 2 week shipping!

@GreenDream:  also got my pocketfolds from cardsandpockets.com. The duties added up…

Cards and pockets were incredibly easy and amazing to deal with. What I would caution is that we paid over $100 in shipping to Canada! Definitely was unaware of the charges. We paid close to $60 to C&P and then paid anther $60 upon ups delivery at our door for “brokerage fees”I wish I had known this before placing the order.

Hope that helps

Ah, yeah! I did full pocketfold invites. There were 2 or 3 mats, multiple inserts, and 2 envelopes for each invite on an order of 300. I also had them do printing and assembly for me on my own design. The duties did not bother me in the least on such a big order. They were good to work with and I’d recommend them.

@drakeland:  our total was $200 but then an additional $100 in fees. Ridiculous! OP posted a link to paper circle. l wish I had found them earlier! They r Canadian and u can avoid the fees. I gave up on trying to match the exact shade on my invites. Ppl won’t  remember the shade while attending the wedding …. I hope !

@drakeland:  Hi – where are you located?  If you’re in Alberta and not too far north, there are several places along the border that will receive things for you.  Then you go across yourself and pick them up.  This way you get your duty allowance, plus no brokerage fees.

I just hand made a bunch of pocketfolds over a couple of evenings when I was bored. It was super easy, I just bought 12″x12″ card stock and double sided tape from the dollar store, easy peasy! 70 pocketfolds cost me like like $30

Just placed an order through Paper Circle… so far so good. Tracy is super helpful. And despite the Canada Day long weekend, I can expect them by Friday (regular ground shipping only — she said I don’t need to upgrade to express shipping because it’s pretty quick as it is.)
