Yay!! Sounds like you have a fun weekend ahead!

I worked some extra time so I could be off today and make it a 4 day weekend!!! πŸ™‚ The only problem is, Fiance did not, so I am home alone. I’m thinking about going shopping…

Tomorrow we’re not doing much. I might check the weather and see if we could plan an outdoors activity. On Sunday we are driving 3 hours to FI’s cousins kids christening, and then there is some kind of get together after that. Then we’re heading to Kingston to visit some friends!

I am sad I am not with my family… they live on the east coast πŸ™ And so far, Future Mother-In-Law has not mentioned anything about a turkey dinner… WTF??? Ugh.

This weekend it is tradition to go camping (in tent trailers) near London with FI’s family (last one before we are married!) We get our own trailer next year!!! woo hoo. Even though I am trying to convince him to share a tent with me. πŸ™‚

Saturday I am leaving camping to go to Whitby to see my Grandma.. and my uncle who is going to be our photographer. Then return to camping that night.

Sunday is the ring-toss tournament (oh ya!) And turkey!!!

Monday is more turkey with my moms family (first holiday since my grandpa died..gunna be a toughy)

Right now I keep thinking of how good eating at Wendy’s tonight is going to be!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, let me tell you about my exciting weekend (not!).

With Monday being Thanksgiving, Fiance will be playing hockey tonight.  Whooo hoo, nothing says Friday night like spending an evening at a rink.

Tomorrow we’re helping a friend move and then we’re off to Eaton’s or specifically the Bay to continue zapping things for our registry.

Sunday’s theme is: Turkey.  We have a turkey lunch at my house which will be followed by a full on turkey dinner with FI’s family.

Monday is a day to recover from our turkey comas.

@OttawaBride: Our family is from the east coast as well. We moved back here from Ottawa a couple of years ago actually to be closer to them, which is nice for times like this. πŸ™‚

We’re travelling to SIL’s tonight to meet our new little nephew – so excited! Hurry up 5pm!!!

I’m so excited! I’ve had a bad week too and can’t wait for it to end. Mmmm, long weekend.

This weekend I have turkey on Sunday (and probably blissful Monday nothingness) and Saturday I’m meeting with a potential wedding planner. I’ve already met one who I really liked but I feel compelled to shop around since she’ll be making lots of decisions for me, like which three florists are the final three and so on. I’m very excited!

Ooo, I must be the only one that is not really excited.  I have so so so much travelling.  We’re driving from London to Collingwood tonight, then from Collingwood to the Haliburton area on Saturday night, then to Orillia-Newmarket-back to London all on Monday!  I’ve gotta tell you, once we get married we will NOT be doing 3-in-one-weekend holidays.  It’s hard with his divorced parents, they get furious if you see one parent and not the other.

I’m not eating for the next 2 days to save up for the marathon on Sunday & Monday.

This will be my LAST Canadian Thanksgiving *sob*

Sunday I’m going to my paternal grandmothers for a plated meal service… she’s never cooked, shes always hired people to do it lol. Monday I’m making  a turkey dinner w/ all the fixings for my mom’s side of the family & my immediate family.

Thanksgiving is my favourite because its just full of good food, good conversation & love!! I’m sooo excited πŸ™‚

Just got back from the grocery store where I picked up our 25 lbs turkey!  Yikes, there’s only 6 of us for dinner.

Anyone want leftovers?
