@magglemay-2013:  Hugs to you! Cancer does suck! DH’s aunt has leukemia and has for several years. With treatment and medicine, she is very healthy! Hoping and praying your mom will be there for your big day!

I’m so sorry you are going through this.  My father was diagnosed with cancer during Christmas of 2011 (Merry Christmas, huh?).  He’s been fighting for over a year and we pushed any wedding plans off so he could be completely recovered to walk me down the aisle.

Well if looks like the last year of fighting wasn’t worth it.  I don’t want to get into details, but… cancer sucks.

Positive thoughts and prayers to your family.

If she can’t make it, can someone volunteer to hold up a cell or ipad on facetime or another web cam?  That way she can be there even if she can’t.

That sucks, I’m so so sorry for you.  I can’t imagine going through that with a month left until the wedding.  You’re family will be in my thoughts!

I am so sorry about this.  Cancer is such a tough disease because of the uncertainty it brings.  Not just whether or not the person will beat it but how they will feel from day to day and whether or not they will be able to live their lives throughout treatment.  My fiance is currently going through chemo for lymphoma, and it is rough.  I know it’s cliche but you just have to do the best you can to take care of your family and yourself, and never give up hope.

@magglemay-2013:

I know how you feel. My fiance and I are putting off our wedding until next year so my mom can fully recover from all her breast cancer treatments. It is definitely hard to deal with but be there for her and give her someone to talk to, I know my mom really appreciated that. She is as scared as you but support her as much as you can. 🙂 hugs and good luck!

I am SO SO SORRY that you are going through this!! Cancer does suck, in the largest way possible.

I really hope your mom pulls through and the treatments are successful. I really hope she is able to leave the hospital for a day or two to attend your wedding, as I can imagine how tough it will be that day if you don’t have your mom with you, and obviously it will be hard to focus and enjoy the day, knowing she is in hospital.

Big hugs to you!

I’m so sorry this is happening to you!  I am in a similar sitation, only it is my Aunt that I am very close to and she has breast cancer.  She is trying to get them to time her chemo treatments so that she won’t be feeling ill for the wedding, I am just so hopeful she can come!  Good luck to you and your mom, my thoughts are with you.
