I just had my wedding not too long ago and I sent lots of money on candles! I spent hours apond hours searching for the cheapest candles possible. I also noticed that many fellow Bees spent lots of money on candles themselfs. I can be quit crafty and as long as I can remember I have been making jar candles, blankets, gifts, centerpieces, etc. My question I want to know is if I decided to make floating candles, votives, tealights, etc… how many of you would be willing to buy them? Mind you, they would be a lot cheaper than the ones you find online and they would be made to order just for you! Please give opinions! Thanks

If you can make and sell and ship votive candles for cheaper than bulk online, I’d be in! I love supporting private buisnesses, but I’m just too damn cheap to pay top dollar for handmade items.

Sure, if your pricing was competitive, and you could have them at my house before the 45-day PayPal dispute policy, I’d definitely order! (I mention the PayPal thing because it’s a safety net for buyers in case the item purchased isn’t as described or never arrives…)
Agree with PP that I’d much rather support a fellow-bee / private business than a giant corporation. Plus you could submit ads here on the bee classified boards.

So I took a leap and got a few things so I can make some candles myself and see how they turn out and what my total cost will be! Hopefully it will be worth it and I can get you brides candles at a decent price and not a arm and a leg! wish me luck!
