Our ceremony will be at 6pm on April 30…the sun does not set until around 9pm. I would really like to use candles, and our chapel is pretty dark when the lights are not on…could I pull this off or would it just be weird to have it still light outside and dark inside?
And any pictures!?

I think it would work. I’ve seen candles at a daytime wedding so no biggie. If you church is naturally dark I think it will be fine too. I know at our church we always have the candles lit for every mass.

Seems bright but has candles too!

I think it would work too. Particularly since your church is dark.

I am having a candlelit ceremony in the afternoon. Our possible venue has curtains that can be closed for the ceremony so we are going to do that to make it darker in the room.
