First of all I think this would be an awesome favour! Secondly, I think it would be very easy to DIY and much more cost-effective too, but you can buy Candy Apples from specialty chocolate/candy stores like Rocky Mountain (though thats a Canadian example).

You can even do something cute like this:

Oh I love that idea, can I come to your wedding? ha ha. Unfortunately I am no help as to where to get them. Are they any fudge/candy shops in your area. Usually they make them and you might be able to get them from there.

We will be ordering caramel apples from Daffy Apple.  They have candy apples too. Check them out!

I just placed my order with daffy apple. Yes, the shipping was expensive, mine was $103.50, but they ship the apples overnight or 2 day delivery. We ordered 156 apples and when we took the total cost, including the $103.50 shipping, it came out to 1.82 per apple which was VERY do-able.

If you break it down that way, it doesn’t look so bad. I bought clear cellophane bags off ebay for $3 and ribbion at Michaels for $5. All in all, it was very affordable. πŸ™‚

I am planning on doing these and buying them from Daffy Apple as well.  Unless I get up the gusto to DIY them… but with 85 days left and so many other things to do we’ll just see about that one πŸ™‚
