Can I see what people used for the containers for their candy bars for guest to take the candy home with them? Did people use bags, chinese take out containers? Also about how much candy did you plan per person?

We’ll probably end up with something like this:
Then providing a small spoon for the guest to get it out. As for the amount… not sure yet, but I’m thinking around 100g per person. We’ll have popcorn as well though, so perhaps a little more if you only do candy.

I am using these boxes:
Then, I went onto Etsy and ordered custom stickers (from a store called partyINK). That say “A sweet ending to a new beginning Danielle and Brian 6/22/13” I put one on each box. The store owner worked with me to change colors, fonts, etc. so it would tie in with my wedding beautifully.
Hope this helps! That Save on Crafts store is also awesome for ordering candy jars too!

Anyone else have an idea for me?

I bought tall vases & crystal candle stick holders from the dollar store and glued them together. I bought E-6000 super glue and so far so good.
Once completed, they look amazing. Much cheaper! And, super cute!!

@Orchd12: From your post I think you meak the package guests will fill when they go home, not the actual display of the candy right?
Are you doing bars or loose candy?
If loose candy: you may be able to get some to go soup containers and them use sticker lables. I would talk to a deli or a grocery store to see if you can tack on an order to their large order so you can get whole sale priceing. usually they are just plain white. Then I would design something for vista print and print some 3″ or so sticker lables and slap em on the containers. They would say thank you or something witty.
kind of like this
EDT: I just realized you dont mean actual bars you mean a BAR, a candy buffet….DUH!
