    Yes, that's a great idea!

No, I don't like that idea.

red21 :  I have never heard of a candy bar as being anything other than a favor.

I’ve been to several weddings that did this. It’s a fun, great idea!  You might want to give someone the task of keeping an eye on the table, so they can refill the m&ms or whatever.

The yummiest things I’ve seen on a candy bar were these candy coated chocolate covered sunflower seeds and gummies in the wedding colors.

red21 :  yes! I think any yummy wedding  edible favors are a great idea.

We just did koozies but we’re thinking about chocolate truffles. Recently we attended family wedding and they did local honey and it was extremely popular!

We had a candy bar and guests LOVED it and are still raving about it 6+ months later. It also was our favor. We had heard stories of other couples who had a candy bar and had the bags on the bar and guests never knew it was there/that they were supposed to take anything from it. Because of that, we had the bags at each person’s place setting and had the DJ announce to take some candy. You could probably also but a little slip of paper in the bag that instructs them to take it home as their favor. And yes definitely have someone who is designated to refill the candy as it goes quick! They’ll have to do it multiple times if you have a decent sized crowd 😉

I like it. Not only is it consumable (which is good for a favor!) but your guests will be able to customize it to their own tastes.

We had a sweetie pic n mix table and little personalised bags. I didnt think of it as a favour just a fun thing for our guests but it was certainly a hit.

We had a candy bar at our wedding in October of 2015! It was basically all gone at the end of the night and we restocked it twice! It went over really well. People really appreciated the mix of candy and the mini candy bars. It was closer to Halloween so they were easy to come by! We also did a macaron tower for guests as well.
