So I’m a few weeks late here, but I just wanted to pop in and share a little about our candy buffet experience! I’ve heard the whole ‘candy buffets are for kids’ argument, but we didn’t even have kids at our wedding… and it was still a big hit! Like I said on my blog, I worried about the concept being overrated. But our wedding guests thought it was totally genius! So try not to worry about what other people will think, especially people in the wedding world. Make wedding choices that feel authentic to your and your fiance and everyone who knows you will love to see it all come together!

Our whole candy buffet setup probably ended up costing about $300 total. (We had 100 guests, and ended up with leftovers.)  I’ve heard of people spending a lot more than that, but you can definitely do it for less too.  My mom and I are both major bargain hunters.  We bought all the containers at Marshall’s, T.J. Maxx, and flea markets. We bought some candy in bulk online (Candy Warehouse), and some on clearance at Target. We made the tablecloth and draping out of cheapo fabric from Jo Ann’s.

Best of luck, Beth, and please share pictures of how yours turns out! 🙂
