Love them! I am going to be doing my own candy buffet as well. We were thinking of labeling the candy by placing labels of swirly lollipops and placing them in the bowls because most of the candy. We will see if that works out how it does in my head. 🙂

What kind of ribbon did you use to secure it? Elastic? Or did you glue them on?

We are borrowing gladd containers from the site so we can’t really work with them before the day.

Very cute and pretty, love the glitter. I’ll just suggest getting with a really fancy handwriting to write the labels and using a darker maybe more festive ink.

Cute!! I’ve been thinking of doing one too. How much are you estimating/person for candy? I have no clue how much it will cost! A friend of mine offered me all the jars from her wedding so I would just have to pay for candy.

@RunnerBride13:  We have a sams club account and so we are planning to stock up in bulk. If you don’t have one maybe a friend does? That will help a lot with cost.

@RunnerBride13:

Hello, I work at a candy store so I may be able to help you out! (Plus I am doing my own!) So generally you can do it from anywhere from $50-150 for 50 people. This is my works website. (We are a family owned business so our prices might be a little higher BUT unlike candywarehouse.com you do not have a minimum order you must make. & we do NOT mark up shipping. Also, all of our stuff is fresh because of how often we rotate it. & with me being a bride myself, I wouldnt order from any other place.) So anyway, the website is.. shopthebulkstore.com I promise you will be pleased with the selection. Oh, and anything you CANT find on the website, call and ask for Steve (The owner) and he will do everything in his power to get you the candy you want (even if we dont carry it)

Once you purchase your boxes/bags you will be able to determine how much per person. I did about 4oz per person. (over estimate im sure.)

Usually, you budget between 1/2-1/4 lb per person.

Cute! We did a candy buffet too. I like your labels.

I made labels on mine and just printed the words out first and then added them to my scrapbooking paper. I just find it looked cleaner than my handwriting.

You can kind of see the labels here
