SO and I are seriously considering a small candy/treat buffet at our receprtion, but we could potentially have 30+ kids under 10 there. How does one prevent them being pigletts and eating themselves sick?

Haha I hadn’t even thought of this.
I have been to a few weddings with candy bars, and the only time I ever saw it being a problem was at a wedding where the parents weren’t controlling the kids and the kids tipped over some of the candy and were getting it all over the floor. I felt so bad because they had the candy in antique glass containers, and at least one of them broke. 🙁
I would suggest having someone attend to the candy bar, like a cake server or punch server, just to make sure kids are being attended to by parents and that the bar isn’t turning into a mess. I think if parents are supervising their kids, then it won’t get out of hand and kids won’t get sick.

I completely agree with brideatthebeach! I didn’t think of this either, but you are very right! We will also be having a candy buffet and children wil be involved, so it is something to consider!!
