RenoSweeney24:  We made 3tier server dish to use for our candy buffet. We’re getting tons of our childhood candies from the dollar store. We haven’t purchased any yet because our wedding isnt until next year, but we have priced the large packs of what we want and we will probably end up spending around $60.00.

We did a candy buffet! We basically picked the things we love most. We had swedish fish, gummy bears, those old fashioned swirl sticks, caramel creams, jelly belly jelly beans, skittles, werthers and a couple of English varietes of chocolate bars. It was a pretty big hit and we had zero candy leftover at the end (unless the venue just kept it and didn’t tell us!). We purchased it on Amazon and everything arrived in great shape.

We also considered doing Lindt truffles and those little chocolates filled with liquors but we just didn’t get around to ordering them. They were a little too expensive also.

I had a candy buffet at my wedding last month. I included in my RSVPs for my guests to let me know what their favorite candy was (many people had duplicate favorites and others didn’t list a favoriteo it wasn’t overwhelming). I made sure everyone’s requests made it in 🙂

I didn’t bother with color coordinating my candy at all. Reeses peanut butter cups were the top favorite hands down…

I had: reeses peanut butter cups, Hershey kisses, Rollos, Sour octopi, Sour belts, Sour cherries, Sour Patch Kids, wafer straws (lemon, chocolate orange, hazelnut, peanut butter), Snow caps, chocolate covered cherries, Swedish fish, gobstoppers, Snickers, Kit Kats, M&Ms (plain and peanut), red vines, Starburst jelly beans, Skittles, gummy bears, etc.

I don’t have any good pictures of the whole thing, but this is the basic idea.

RenoSweeney24:  Yes. We’re making a bunch of them (3-tier servers) Oh,  we will be having a drawing and giving them to our guest as giveaways.  All of the candy will be individually sealed. This is what some of them will look like:
