guuurl it is not cheap, thats for sure.

i am having a candy buffet at my wedding and i suggest checking out Marshalls if you have it in your area. usually theyre vases are pretty reasonable. second i would narrow down your candy selection to the candy you want and start internet searching. maybe make a log perhaps? i am doing a candy buffet / dessert table. not having a whole lot of candy & just going to add mini cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, cake pops, and pretzel+cashew chocolate covered treats to ass some extra to it but not spend a lot more than i already have. hope i helped somehow! happy planning!Smile

I think that color specific candy will cost more than just random candy.  We spent about $400 total for our candy buffet and had 75 people at the wedding.  We just had random candy though.  We got one bag of candy (from Costco) for about every 5-10 people and had quite a bit left over.

I know that our candy buffet cost more than we expected.

We had about 60 people at our wedding and all of the supplies for the buffet probably cost me around $400+ We had about 6 different types of candy.

At the end of the evening there was probably enough candy left over for 10 more people to help themself.
