I’m doing a candy buffet for a baby shower and not putting instructions.  Just a ‘Sweet Baby Boy’ sign.  I think they’ll get it, I mean there’s bags, scoops and candy.  LOL

I’ve seen signs which stated what type of candy was on the jar. I’ve also seen big cut outs of the words SWEET LOVE and they were on sticks on top of the jars.

We just labeled the jars with what type of candy they are. We’re not doing an “instructional” sign

I think labels for the candy is a great idea. When I have seen framed words on a table for candy buffets it’s usually something more on the.. poetic side? Some words to add some sentimentality or a personal touch. I’ve also seen instructions that obviously aren’t needed but are worded in a cutesy way to, again, make it more personal. Just another way to make something at your wedding special to you. It’s probably not needed. Most people from ages 2-90 can figure out… there’s candy, there are bags, it’s like self-serve Halloween for everybody! w007
