I think it depends how much candy you buy, but I actually think on the norm individual favors are more cost-effective. For candy bars to look beautiful, you actually need a lot more candy than just the recommended 3 oz. per person, because that makes your jars look really bare. I would definitely lean towards the favor boxes, too…candy bars can be up in the $3-5 person range +, and I love the personal touch of the candies!

I am doing a candy buffet and it is costing me about $4 pp.  And that is not including the big jars I bought.  I even went the cheap way my colors are aqua, ivory, and brown so I am using lots of chocolate.

I was thinking about doing a candy buffet, but it became too complicated so I am giving out an edible favor maybe donuts from this well known place where we are from or candy apples since it’s a fall wedding.
