Some of the venues I have found and loved are about 2 hours away from where I live (in the uk) so I was thinking of hiring a coach to get my guests down there but I can’t find any prices! I have to sign up and all that when all I want is a basic idea!! Anyone else use coaches? If so, pretty please share some info for me 🙂 (looking at a coach for about 75 people, more likely less)

VeronicaB2B: Some things are best done the old-fashioned way. They can’t possibly publish all the potential trips online.
Phone them and ask for an estimate.

I agree with calling.
With 75 people, I’m also guessing you will need 2 coaches (unless some of the companies have double deckers).

VeronicaB2B: We hired a bud/coach but I’m in Canada and can’t really give you an idea of the price. There’s a lot of information they need to give a quote – distance, number of trips, time of day, number of passengers etc etc. You will need to talk to someone or fill out a detailed quote request.

I agree with calling, we found that to be the easiest. We also found that if we went with smaller companies (rather than the big-names) we were able to negotiate better and talk to someone directly. FYI, from experience, the biggest barrier you may run into is that the buses will have to be rented for at least 4 hours (there and back), and, likely the entire length of the wedding considering how far it is..so you may end up paying for a lot of hours in the end.
