Aww I love that idea!  Maybe a scrapbook of the two of you over the years that randomly includes the something old something new etc.. and ends with the toast that you would make at their wedding.

Look up monogrammed wine glass koozies like these:

I ordered a white one for myself that says Mrs. (FI’s last name) on it, and ordered one for each of my bridesmaids with their names.  I’m sure your friend would love something from you that she can use throughout her big day!

Something sweet like her fav candy or a box of truffle chocolates. I know I wouldn’t have minded some chocolate the day of.

a sample of her favorite perfume?  or a flower for her hair… you could ask if she has all her … something borrowed something new things and tell her you’ll provide one of those.

That is super, super sweet. Neither of my best friends is attending my wedding, and this kind of thing would make me *so* happy.

Honestly, what I’d like best would be a really sweet card. Some candy wouldn’t hurt, either :p

I just had a cute thought, though – look up wedding traditions for good luck and see which things you could send (all I can think of off the top of my head are a sixpence and a sugar cube, which according to my friend’s Greek grandmother is supposed to be in your pocket to sweeten your marriage).

A bouquet pendent with your picture that she can attach to her flowers. That way you can walk down the aisle with her.

Can you Skype while she is getting ready?

Whatever you send, remember that she has to get it to and from the Bahamas, so small and lightweight is best. I’d be hesitant to send champagne, but maybe you can contact the resort and schedule room service to bring her a fruit and cheese plate and champagne for while she is getting ready. It’s so easy not to eat enough that morning.

@KoiKove:  Love that idea of skype..

Also.. if you guys are very close what are some of the things you guys have done together over the years? what would remind her of you? Pics of you two together maybe.. candy you two like.. maybe give her something blue or something old that she can wear and think of you…

Yea, I don’t think you can send alcohol in the mail…….at least, I know in my state you can’t.

I’d contact the hotel and have her brought mimosas in the morning…..

You can take alcohol on a plane as long as it’s being checked and not carried on! Done it many times ๐Ÿ™‚ If she’ll have access to a DVD player in her room or something, maybe a slideshow of pictures of you two? Or a nice letter with some photos included?
