It seems like the designer had a good idea that he just couldn’t get quite right with the first one. I vote second one.

I too prefer the second one. There’s something just a bit off on the first one.

Second one (add a poll!)
ETA: Not really liking the ruching on the first one. At first I just thought it wasn’t fitting correctly.

I like the second one better—both look beautiful, but the second is more elegant. The first needs more of a transition—the bottom of the skirt seems so abrupt.

Definitely the 2nd one. You look fantastic in it.
the first one seems ill conceived like the designer couldn’t quite figure out where he was going with it. And unfortunately it doesn’t look well made.

Second one all the way. I could like the first one the right idea is there but there’s something a little off about it, I think it just doesnt flow right for me or something, I just cant put my finger on it. The second one is so classy and pretty!

I’m going to say something I’m not sure if I have ever said on these boards. I love the idea of these dresses, but I do not like the execution of the first one — at all, and I do not like the silhouette of the second one on your body.
You can tell by the first gown that you have an amazing figure!! I love the way the first gown looks on your body. However, I do not like the stark juxtaposition of the shiny satin with the ruffled organza at the bottom. I also don’t like the execution of the dress in the bustline area.
I love the neckline and the bling of the second gown. (Is it the Adorae?) It’s very beautiful. However, the second dress artificially makes you look very straight up and down from waist to hips, and I don’t think it’s flattering on you, because it hides your awesome curves. I believe this is because of a combination of the fact that the bling on this dress is positioned at an empire-waistline level, and the fact that there is so much ruching on the dress. If the sash on of this dress fell at your natural waist, I think it would be much more beautiful.
I would encourage you to keep looking, because I think you will find a dress that will really showcase your figure and that you will love even more than you like either of these gowns! 🙂
ETA: I am envisioning you in something a little more like “WeddingBound’s” dress. Have you seen it? If you haven’t, I’m posting a link to her most recent thread, where there is a pic.http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/am-i-crazyyyy-thought-on-trash-the-dressinput-needed

I feel like there is too much going on with the first dress – and not in a good way. The second one looks much better!

I far prefer the second one. The first one looks kind of cheap – it might just photograph poorly. You look gorgeous in either one though!

The second one by a million miles – it is beautiful on you.
The first one is very flattering, but I dont like the abrupt change of fabric. I also think its a dress that might look very outdated in years to come, whereas the second one is much more classic.
