I’m due to go for my final fitting in few weeks and I’ve been trying all week to call the bridal shop to possibly rearrange my appointment.
However their website seems to be down and the numbers I call just ring and ring and now I’m starting to get paranoid that they’ve ceased trading or something. The dress, veil and underskirt are all fully paid for and thankfully I paid on my credit card so I’ve got the protection + wedding insurance if this the case but I’m starting to get worked up about it.
Considering I might go into town tomorrow to check things out. Am I just being paranoid here?

@Soon2BeeMrsG: Get down there tomorrow to check! I hope that they’re just really busy in the shop and nothing worse!!

Cariad- Trust me I’m running down their first thing tomorrow. Something isn’t right here and I’m starting to get a bad feeling about this.

Oh no, I hope it’s ok! Is it a family business? Maybe they had some event or emergency they had to tend to.

Ya, I would go in person. Have you tried googling the shop name to find out if there is any information online?

Their website is down and I’ve googled to see if there is anything about it in the news but nothing has come up.
I’m just trying to find a rational reason why the website is down and nobody is answering the phone all week that doesn’t mean something bad has happened.
It’s quite a well known shop and not family run, so they have plenty of staff helping.

Also I have a question for anyone who might know… if they were shut down and they have my dress, would I be able ot get it and get the alterations done somewhere else?

i read in other post that said if you have paid your and all your stuff in full, you should be able to get your dress as you own it. you can even contact the designer company to ask for advice. good luck
