SO and I went ring shopping today with the idea that we would choose a low profile bezel setting solitaire ring. I work in health care so it’s important that I can wear gloves with my ring, and I tend to be rough on my rings. While we were shopping we decided to look at other settings. I saw a “Lucida” setting which was pretty low profile but not as low as the bezel setting.
I really like both but I can’t decide which one to choose. Help!!! Can I see pictures of both?!? Does anyone have either of these settings and can tell me about them? I’m curious about the “Lucida” setting now.

Would you want to just wear a band at work and wear the e-ring outside of work so you can really open up your options/help you make a choice?

I want to be able to wear both at work. I don’t want to have to take one off to go to work.

Mine is a bezel set halo but it is very low set which I love. I just didn’t want something that would get stuck on stuff all the time.

I just got engaged on October 17th and got the Tiffany’s Bezet and I absolutely love it. I told my Fiance that I wanted something low set, because I also work in healthcare and want to be able to wear my ring to work. I love the way it feels (solid, heavy) and that the diamond is really the focus. Mine is .53 and it works really well in the bezel setting I think.
We also looked at Lucida and I think its beautiful, but ultimately I felt the prongs took away from the diamond when its under a carat, but thats just my opinion.
Go with what feels right! People either LOVE bezel set rings or pretty much hate them.

I think the lucida setting is more timeless and won’t look dated in a few years..
