Order them, try them on, and then decide. It's worth the $4 return shipping if necessary. : (21 votes)

While the Badgley Mischka’s are cuter, I’m with you.  I don’t think you should spend that kind of money on shoes that will probably be hidden by your dress and when the $140 will be added to the $70 you already spent.

I think they are definitely worth it. Nothing wrong with splurging a little on yourself, wedding is once in a lifetime. Also, maybe check if the shoes are dyeable that way you can continue to get use out of them after your wedding. That might make you feel better about the cost!

The first pair I ordered were $30, and I sent them back because they were too high and very uncomfortable.

I ended up spending $115 on a pair of Kate Spade’s, and I LOVE them! I figure, I will be on my feet all day and night, what better time is there to splurge!?

go for the badgely mischka’s!! they’re soooo much cuter, and $140 isn’t that much when you compare it to brides who buy manolos or louboutins for $1,000 🙂

I don’t think $140 is excessive for wedding shoes at all!  Most of the shoes I buy are $75-$100 and if you can’t splurge a little bit on something you love for your wedding, when can you?

If the store has a great return policy you might as well order them. You could possibly wear them again and your wedding day is no time to be disappointed with your shoe choice.

If I were you, and I could fit it into the budget, I would definately order the badgely mischka shoes. They are adorable, and I think you will be much happier with them. These also look like rewearable shoes for after your wedding. I could totally see them with a pair of jeans or something more dressy.

I think it’s really up to what you expect from your shoes. There are a few shoes of thought (1) go extravagant and get through to-die-for-shoes you would otherwise not have the excuse to buy (2) Buy nice/inexpensive shoes that will do the job that day (2) Buy shoes that work for that day and can be reworn.

I think that will help you size it up. If you are up for buying these (which are very glamorous and actually a deal at $140), then that’s good. If not, I would pass.

Mmmm Nordstroms took my mom’s shoes back for a full return! lol AFTER she used them for her wedding! She had bought some really expensive shoes!

I personally am a shoe-fanatic and i think comfort ranges and can be worth the price, you are going to be doing a lot of walking and thanking and greeting that day, so it might pay off! $140 isnt that bad! Now if it were like $400 i’d say RECONSIDER! lol
