I’ve had my eye on two different dresses and I can’t get either one out of my head for different reasons.
The first one is a Maggie Sottero dress called Beth:
And here are more pics:
For the Maggie dress, I would probably add a little bit of black lace along the top and bottom of the dress.
The other dress is by Mia Solano. Its style number is M9871Z:
Please let me know what you think and why! <3 Thank you in advance!

I personally prefer the Beth dress (and I wouldn’t add the extra lace – I think it looks gorgeous as it is!) because it’s more visually striking. The Maggie dress is gorgeous but I don’t like the applicés from the bust line to the hem.

I prefer the Maggie dress. I think it’s quite pretty and different.

@littlemissmoo: FYI The Maggie dress is the Beth dress.
I also like the Maggie one best. I think it is classy and stunning. They are both very different though.

I prefer the Maggie dress as well because I feel like your 2nd choice has too much going on. It doesn’t strike me as very bridal, but the first one is simply stunning.

I think the Maggie os more bridal

I agree w/ all the others..the maggie is absolutely stunning and I dont think any additional lace is needed as it will take away from the dress.

I voted for Beth. And, I agree that I wouldn’t add anymore lace. The lace in the middle is striking and tasteful, but adding some may make it too busy.

DEFINTELY the Mia Solano.

Thank you for all your comments! I feel like the Maggie dress looks higher quality for some reason… I don’t like the Mia dress’s zipper in the back because you can see it to easily. If I did end up with the Mia dress, then I would probably remove the zipper and add corsetting instead.
I still think I would like to add lace on the Maggie dress because I want to make it more my own and I would just like a small amount of lace along the very bottom of the dress and maybe just a tiny bit of black trim along the top… Basically, I want the lace trim on the bottom of the Maggie dress to look similar to this dress:
But I want the top trim to be much thinner than it is on that dress. In fact, the trim on top would be about 1/3 of an inch max. But I have an appointment to try on the Maggie dress in a couple weeks (as long as it’s still there) and we’ll see what I think then.
By the way, both of these dresses are extremely hard to find! I still can’t find the Mia dress to try on. 🙁 I think I am leaning toward the Maggie dress, but I want to try the Mia dress to be sure… I found that I didn’t really look twice at the Maggie dress at first, but now I can’t get it out of my head. It grew on me!
Also, one more piece of information to consider. I’m having an outdoor wedding in the botanical gardens. Do either of these dresses suit that setting better than the other? Thanks again everyone!

I like the Mia Solano dress best, but I’m somewhat biased. It’s the dress I chose. I’m also having an outdoor garden wedding. Both dresses are lovely, I love the embroidery on the train of the Maggie dress. But I absolutely adore the Mia Solano for what it is, however I do agree that a corsett back would be much more flattering for it.

I liked them both but chose the second because I hand’t seen it before. What color will you choose?
