Can't decide if pretty but uncomfortable shoes are worth it

drewby1121 :  I wore Bagdley Mischka heels for my wedding but bought another pair of Badgley Mischka wedges for comfort to change into and was glad I did. I didn’t really break the heels in because I didn’t want to scuff them up so I had to take them off after the first look photos and ceremony (wore them for a total of maybe 3 hours). That being said I’ve worn them a few more times since and they’re now one of my most comfortable heels because they’re broken in. If you buy them I highly suggest breaking them in ahead of time and bring a same height wedge shoe to change into just in case.

drewby1121 :  Sacrificing comfort for style is never worth it, you don’t want to be down for the count on your wedding day.

I went with both.  For the wedding ceremony and photos and reception, I wore beautiful white satin 4″ sandals with a bit of bling on them.  They were open toe so that my toes wouldn’t get squished or be in pain.  But once dinner and speeches were done and the dancing started, I changed into super comfy platform sandals so I could enjoy dancing and floating around to talk to everyone. My dress was long so it covered them anyways and no one knew.

I wore Badgley Mischka flats and found them extremely uncomfortable. They had no support (which I could have lived with) but the major problem was that the material was really stiff and cut into my feet. To answer your question, it wasn’t worth it. I ended up taking them off as soon as photos were over and I wore gold flip flops for the rest of the night, lol. I will say that no one could really see my shoes at any point during the night.

drewby1121 :  I was a bridesmaid in two weddings where the bride wore Badgley Mischka heels and they said they were plenty comfortable after breaking them in before the wedding.  I wore 4 inch heels for my wedding and wore them all day and night, but I wear heels everyday so it wasn’t a big deal for me.  I would definitely get shoes that you can be comfortable in for a few hours, but those wedges are too casual for your dress imo.  I always see brides getting shots with their shoes and I know I wanted them as well.
