- Wedding: October 2013
There are three possible wedding venues that my fiance and I are looking at. We’ve been weighing the pros and cons, but we need some help.
There’s a pavilion for the reception area, so we wouldn’t have to rent a tent.
Everyone would have to pay the entrance fee of $5 to get in. People shouldn’t have to pay to attend a wedding. 🙁
No security. It’s a public park, and even though the ceremony and reception would be in the same place, they are in different areas of the park, so who knows if someone decides to come and try a cupcake or something. 😐
Cute little chapel that can easily be changed for any theme wedding.
We’d get the keys for the park, so we wouldn’t have to worry about anyone breaking in or stealing something.
$250. It’s still cheap, but we’re looking to save as much money as possible.
We’d have to rent a tent, which of course is even MORE money.
My parent’s house
Complete security. We could set up the night before and it would be completely fine.
It would probably cost as much money (or more) to have it there. We’d have to rent twice as much as we would with the other two.
I keep going back and forth. Either place can be beautiful.
What do you think?
