Miss.E.91: This. Blue Nile/James Allen and in brick and mortar, I believe, Shane Co. all have amazing upgrade policies. If you get a smaller sized version of what you like now, you can upgrade later if you choose.
I also loved the Asscher cut but felt it looked too small for its carat weight on my finger, so I ended up with an emerald cut. Same concept, more finger coverage. I also love that while I consider emerald cuts to be very classic, I don’t know many people who have them IRL.

Ashleypeter2015: I know exactly what you mean, I have a size 8 finger and my fingers are chubby. I wanted the coverage because it seems that my hands “eat up” any cute ring I wear. I was torn between an Oval, Asscher and Cushion. After trying MANY rings on I fell in-love with my Cushion Halo. My setting is 1ct and my center stone is 1.34ct. It looks HUGE on my finger! It’s a Trellis setting and it gives unbelievable SPARKLE! Don’t worry about size, try on EVERYTHING even if you doubt you will like it. You will fall in-love the moment YOUR ring is on your finger 🙂
