Bees I need some help I can’t decide up or down with my dress . I love both ,Im leaning towards up because it feels more secure and my wedding is next month. I feel that the updo will stay all night . Although I hate my back and my dress is a little low , the only thing I don’t like about it . I’m skinny and feel like my back just looks bony . I will have a veil that goes to the floor .
Here are some photos

And my dress

What do you think ?

I really like the back of your dress! I don’t think it’s too low at all, but that’s totally your call.
That being said, I also love the back of the down hairstyle! So romantic!

Your back looks fantastic! As beautiful as that braid work is, I would also lean more towards up. It’s one less thing to worry about…With all the hugs, there is no worry of it getting caught in someone’s watch or getting hot while dancing or curls falling out after a couple of hours.

Because your dress has straps, I say up. But it also depends on what you want to convey with your look. The first is much more romantic. The second is very formal.
I had my hair down for my wedding. It looked as good at the end of the night as it did for the ceremony. If your hair dresser knows what she’s doing, you shouldn’t have any trouble.

sunfl0wergirl: Thats what I was thinking about , dancing and becoming limp . My hair is long and heavy and just does not hold a curl .But I’m also kind of known for my long hair . Ugh tough !
CherryA: That is good to know yours stayed all night ! I hear horror stories of wet floppy curls lol And I didn’t consider the straps but now I might .

You’re gorgeous and shouldn’t be self-conscious of your back! I say up just so you can show off that amazing back of yours and that dress!

Colormepink: I’m going to say up. While I love both hairstyles, you’ve got a great back so show it off 🙂

Starling2015: That is really sweet of you to say ! I’ve always thought of my back as so unfeminine but this is helping me feel better about having the updo .
rmsgirl: Robyn0214: thank you ! I think I’m leaning more toward up !

Oh I really love your hair! I vote down because you have such gorgeous looking hair and it would be a shame to have it all tucked away! I have long hair and had a similar down style to yours on my wedding day. My curls did drop a fair bit, but not during the ceremony. I think it was because it was pretty windy. I do have some nice photos with my hair blowing in the wind! But it was also a little annoying when it blew in my face during the ceremony! But not enough to make me wish that I wore it up.

LittleKBee: Long hair blowing in the wind sounds like it made for an amazing picture !Ah why are these things so hard ! Ours is a church ceremony so hopefully it would stay through that but it is a long day .

Up! Without a doubt!
I was so set on having my hair down with big curls. I had a trial for our engagement party and it was a mess within a few hours. Lots of hugging and dancing …
My hairdresser convinced me to try some up styles and I went with something similar to yours. It was a huge relief to not have to worry about my hair all night, plus it rained so my hair would have been a giant frizzball if it were down.
And, like PP said, you have a great back and the back of your dress is beautiful 🙂
