i am having “ballerina” flower girls and they’re going to be putting fake flower petals on the ground coming from their pomander balls. my florist is making a ball that actually has storage in it from where the flowers are coming from.

I’m considering the water can for my garden wedding.

I’m insane (my poor flower girls). I decided they aren’t throwing petals (because I don’t want white rose petals and the venue only allows organic materials to be thrown). Since my theme is butterfly, I am going to have them wear butterfly wings (which they love) and walk down the aisle carrying decorated butterfly nets with little flower tiaras. I call them my “Butterfly Princesses” and they are thrilled.

I am a little worried people with think it is insane, but hopefully they just think it is cute!

I bought a simple wicker basket from Michaels, my now-husband spray painted it ivory for me then the flower girl’s mom ended up putting bowes and fake hydrangeas on it. It was perfect for us…. and cheap!

We got these little buckets from Hobby Lobby for $2 each and I just added the flowers and ribbons for a little something extra.

I had the same problem. So I decided to go with a pomander ball.  🙂
