Went dress shopping for the first time yesterday. Tried about 10 dresses on. Only 1 was similar to the style I am looking for. I like Maggie Destination styles. None of the stores had any dresses this style and kept giving me these huge 30lb dresses I didnt care for to try on. Im getting married on the beach in the Grand Cayman and doing TTD following day. I would like to just buy a knock off online but worried now the the Chinese New Year I may not get it ordered in time. Going to try Davids Bridal in the next day or 2. I am on such a tight budget and buying online would be ideal. Any Suggestions????

I got this for under $100.00 bucks
CON: It doesn’t look as pretty on me as I thought! But I’m getting it altered. On a previous post, I think I decided I might not wear it! But it’s still beautiful!!!

Check The Limited’s sale on right now. Gowns are $99 and under- there are a couple of styles that might work for you.

Have you tried Dessy? There are tons of beachy dresses.. most bridal designers have a seperate collection for destination wedding type dresses so you should have plenty to choose from depending on your budget

I wore a chiffon dress from DB that I think would work really well for a flowy beach dress. It is Style V9743.

look for something in chiffon, it’s light and airy. try websites like j.crew and ann taylor.

Thanks Ladies for the comments and taking the time to even give me links and photos! It being my 2nd wedding and have already done the big bucks over the top dress the first time I am looking at spending under $250 on my dress this time around. Designer brands arent important. If I can find a knock off even better. I do like these Maggie dresses AD3396,Rehearsal Dinner1068,RD1122 and did try on AD3300. If i can just find these styles to try on and know for sure its right for me before ordering with probably Dressilyme

Definitely check out the Nordstrom website!! They have a ton of great dresses AND they have free shipping and free returns… so if you get it and hate it, no loss.
Just an example….
Good luck in your hunt!

I bought mine from David’s Bridal. They had a bunch of flowy, beachy kind. I’d look at their website before you go so you get some ideas.
And I got my dress for less than $500, and that included tax!
@FutureKMM: I think we are dress twins!
