I was looking for a specific dress to try on, so I actually contacted the manufacturer.  They gave me a list of stores who had that particular style number to try on in my area.

there is a  “store locator” link, did you try that link? (sounds like a dumb quesiton I know)  Can you just not find the specific dress?  Id do what JEssie said and contact them directly, they can tell you to whom they sent the samples to near you.

Gorgeous dress!

good luck!  I had a few specific dresses I wanted to try and I called every store in the three states around me and no one had any of them.  It was very frustrating.  I think that that’s just the way bridal stores can be.  You might not be able to find the dress and you might have to just start looking at other dresses during your appointment.  Keep in mind the general style of the dress that you like and then see if they have similar styles at the stores near you.

If you can afford to wait a little, the other thing you could do is find out when that manufacturer is having a trunk show in your area. At trunk shows, they bring the whole line of dresses from the current collection, so they should have your dress to try on.

Also, if you can find a sample to try on at a store where you don’t like the service, or isn’t in your area, that doesn’t mean you have to buy your dress there. Any store that carries that manufacturer can order your dress for you, even if they don’t have a sample.
