I really love moroccan caftan wedding dress. They are so gorgeous! But I can not find it an I’m on a really low budget on a little bit of time. I saw a website on other forums dressself.com, is this a reliable website? Can anyone give me some suggestions?

Is this your heritage or do you just think they are pretty?

I just think they are beautiful. I really want to try a special dress for my wedding.

@mariewhite: Seems like cultural appropriation to me. If you’re not from that culture, it really doesn’t seem right for you to wear a traditional dress from that culture.

@yogahammy: I totally agree. It would be very inappropriate.

@yogahammy: Thank you very much for your suggestion, my thoughts may be impulsive.

i dont think you should wear one outright unless you’re getting married in that country or your partner is from there, but I don’t see why you can’t borrow elements you like from it 🙂 I see kimono sleeves, hanbok styled skirts and ‘chinese’ dragon prints on every day ‘western’ clothing and think that’s alright.
