That’s ridiculous that your son’s father isn’t keeping in touch. Wait it out a while, then if you haven’t heard anything maybe notify the police?

I know you won’t feel better until you actually talk to him, which is hopefully soon! But yesterday we were under a tornado warning for an hour and I couldn’t get a cell phone signal, but I was safe and sound in a basement playing Bejeweled! 🙂 I am sure he is just fine!

Men never think the way women do. I’m sure you would have sent a “we’re ok” text at least. I’m sure they’re ok, but it’s still added stress for no reason.

@HappilyEverAfter54:  It sounds like you’ve experienced a very frightening storm.  I know how it can make your heart skip a beat or two!  Yesterday, we were in lock down at my school for an hour and a half because the sirens went off 3 different times.  Anyways, like Lindsay12.31.10 said, most likely they are just experiencing problems with signals.  Sending prayers your way!!  Keep us posted…

If the weather was that bad, maybe the cell phone towers got damaged and he can’t call. I’m not a mom yet, so I can’t relate to the feelings you are experiencing.  Keep telling yourself that he’s okay, and try calling or texting every 5 minutes or so. Sending tons of hugs your way!

That is scary. When it turns green outside, that is usually a good indicator of storm easily capable of tornadoes and hail. Sometimes I’ll be sitting here, and I’ll look outside and it’ll be green. I’ll flip on the TV, and sure enough, there’s a tornado warning. And yes, I live in tornado alley, so that’s why I say it like it happens a lot.

I’m glad to hear that all are safe though! 🙂
