- Wedding: October 2013
Previously Fiance and I were going to get married October 2012 during the Columbus Day weekend. It was going to be a Destination Wedding so I mailed Save the Dates to everyone in March or April. I got ahead of myself and realized that we needed to postpone the wedding because we couldn’t afford it and Fiance was going to still be in school this Fall. So I sent letters to everyone saying we would postpone the wedding because of financial and academic concerns.
We can’t invite everyone and frankly, I don’t want to invite everyone. Those who aren’t going to be invited, I guess I just don’t send them an invitation and when they ask, say we can’t accomodate everyone?
My gut says it would be weird to offensively tell them they aren’t invited instead of waiting for them to come to me.
Has anyone else been through this?
