One of my great friends is having her bachelorette party tomorrow and I cant make it because i live in New York and she lives in Iowa and I cant afford to make it back for it. I want to do something realy nice for her. Does anyone have any ideas? I was thinking maybe asking the hotel to deliver flowers to the room she will be staying in with maybe a bottle of champagne. DO you think they would do that for me if i had my mom run the stuff down to the room?

Certainly they will do that. Have your Mom take the gifts to the concierge or the bellman’s desk and leave a tip.

That’s a lovely idea! The hotel should accomdate your request. She’ll be happy you thought of her and are sharing in spirit since you can’t be there in person. Maybe you could give her a call during as well just to say you wish you were there. I’m sure she’ll really miss you!

That’s really sweet of you. I think it sounds like a great idea. Call the hotel, I’m sure they can accomodate your request.

Flowers would be nice.. But I would go with a bottle of bubbly and send her a gift,, maybe something for the honeymoon

Definetly a bottle of champagne 🙂 Maybe a box of sweets for the girls to snack on while they get ready? It’s very thoughtful of you!

I would probably send the sparkling wine to the room & some nice lingerie/pajamas for the honeymoon in the mail 🙂 That’s really nice of you to think of your friend.

That sounds really nice. Or if they are going to a bar or somewhere have a round of shots paid for and waiting for them:) It sounds like you are such a thoughtful friend!

The bottle of champagne is a great idea. I went to a destination bachelorette a few years ago where the bride’s friends back home found out which night we were going to a certain (very nice) restaurant, and ordered multiple bottles of champagne and a variety of desserts for us. It was wonderful.
