Yes…I say, set a timer! Maybe try 15 minutes of cleaning and 10 of weddingbee?

I usually set goals for myself like finish cleaning the kitchen, put laundry in, then read weddingbee. And honestly, as hard as it is to get up from the couch and go get stuff done, I feel a LOT better when I have accomplished what I need to get done! It feels good to be productive 🙂

I hear you. However, it doesn’t take much effort to distract me from cleaning the house. Whether it be Weddingbee, reality television, or just a bird flying by the window. ANYTHING to get out of cleaning.

*sigh*

Yeah, I just looked past the laptop screen at the pile of laundry, the dishes on the table next to me, and the school papers on the floor which also include the Russian homework I need to do.

For me, putting on some energizing music always helps me clean. Whatever music makes you want to get up and dance or get up and run. Similar stuff to what you work out to.

This is happening to me right now…. Laundry, dishes, vacuuming… it all sounds so BLAH, and this baking show and WB seem so exciting!

I hate cleaning. Hate it hate it hate it. I have to host a baby shower next weekend which I’m totally pumped about, but sooooooooooooooooooo dreading having to shovel out the house to get ready for it. Ugh. I swear I would cut a lot of things out of my life just to afford a cleaning lady… I really need to follow through on that statement.

I only get motivated to clean if I really have to, like if I’m having people over or something. So I try to invite someone over at least once every 2 weeks just to keep the house in check.

I told Darling Husband I’d vacuum today, and I even actually want to vacuum because the living room rug is covered in dog hair, but I just can’t motivate myself.  First it was Law & Order, then lunch, then WB, then Chopped, then more WB, now WB and figure skating on tv!  Le sigh.

Hmmmm… I was supposed to be cleaning and putting the laundry away, but instead I am on WB and watching dvr’ed SYTTD from last night.  My excuse to myself is that he left his computer at home and I can actually post on WB wheras Im usually stuck on the Ipad that wont let me postFrown.

Ill start cleaning when he gets home… LOL

I clean best when I’m angry or frustrated (or under pressure of a guests looming arrival).

I really hate cleaning… but yes I procrastinate on the bee a lot too!
