(Closed) Can’t sleep! Tips?

i experienced this later in pregnancy too. i would not only wake up at 3 or 4am and be WIDE awake – like, ready to go to work awake – but would also be starving. 

i didn’t really find anything to keep me from waking up, but i found that not trying to fight it kept me from getting frustrated about it. i just came to expect it and would wake up, have a bowl of cereal, watch some tv, and fall back asleep after an hour or so. granted, by the time it was time to get up for work, i was exhausted, but i think it just comes with the territory 🙁

Reading books helped alot for me. If I basically go up from bed, there’s no going back. But if you have a book, it’s brighter, I usually read a few chapters, then fall asleep. Maybe that would help you aswell.

I’m in the exact same boat at the moment; except it’s been going on for two weeks. I can’t nap as I’m at work during the day…

I don’t drink late, exercise regularly early in the day so it doesn’t affect my sleep, have a good bedtime routine. I have no idea why I wake up like that, when I do, I tried reading, relaxing techniques, medidating, praying, nothing has worked!

I can’t wait to read some of the answers, maybe some will be things I haven’t tried already… good luck!
